The Digital Age is a 66-minute industrial, progressive rock concept album which tells the story through one narrator about humanity's reliance on technology, which ultimately leads to our downfall, all told through one narrator.
It features a wide range of acoustic and electric instruments, electronic, orchestral and ambient sounds, extensive choral parts and a whole range of different vocal sounds and emotions.
Heavily inspired by Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater and classical music from all eras.
Growing up in love is Blue Macaw's third album - a progressive folk-rock song cycle covering the joys and pains of becoming your own person, chasing your dream, finding the one you love and walking through life with this person.
The songs are linked seamlessly without a break, like a folk version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Moving away from the hard rock elements of previous albums, this album is more inspired by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Jeff Buckley with jazz and classical influences. The mood ranges from folk, rock, folk rock, jazz fusion, twelve tone music to experimental a capella. Skillful nylon-string guitar playing is mixed with harmonica and classical singing, with touches of flute, electric guitar, keyboard, drums, bass and reflective lyrics that tell a story from start to finish.
Interludes by the Sea is the second album from award-winning opera and music theatre performer, Christopher Busietta, under the moniker Blue Macaw.
It is an eclectic journey of original music ranging from hard rock, heavy metal through to country, folk and arrangements of opera arias to themes of love, hope, fear and disappointment set by the sea.
Guest musicians on several tracks include members of the live band: Geeta Abad (Violin), Mehmet Ali Yucel (Viola) & Lou Paquin (Bassoon) as well as former Myopia guitarist Nick Busietta (Guitar and Vocals).
The Shadows is Christopher Busietta's self-composed debut album recorded between 2000 and 2001. This is a dark, guitar-based progressive rock album that will spin you in all directions, yet without getting lost along the way. Styles ranging from acoustic rock and alternative rock peppered with flamenco and classical guitar, heavy metal, electronica and touches of flute and piano. Think Jeff Buckley crossed with Tea Party, Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Ween and even Nine Inch Nails.
