L'une des étoiles montantes de la scène de l'opéra Australienne, Melbourne né ténor lyrique Christopher Busietta peut être trouvé chanter sur les scènes d'opéra en Allemagne, ou il est soliste à plein temps pour l’Opéra de Augsburg, et ce jusqu’en juillet 2014. Il a commencé sa carrière professionnelle en Australie en 2004 en tant que soliste de concert et d'oratorio avec des chœurs et des orchestres locaux à Melbourne, et en tant que choriste professionnel avec Opera Australia et Victorian Opera. Il a ensuite pour devenir un ténor avec le société écoles primaries d’Opera Australia (OzOpera), en tournée Barbier de Séville et de Cendrillon, ainsi que le chant des premiers rôles pour le Lyric Opera of Melbourne et iOpera. Aprés il a gagné le 2009 German Australian Opera Grant, il a déménagé à l'Allemagne en tant que ténor soliste à temps plein, chantant avec Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Theater Augsburg, Theater Aachen, Landestheater Niederbayern, Theater Magdeburg, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz (Munich) et Oper Frankfurt. Ses 39 rôles d’Opéra incluent Don Ramiro (La Cenerentola), Don Ottavio, (Don Giovanni), Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Pedrillo (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Erwin (Anna Amalia's Erwin und Elmire), Goro (Madama Butterfly), Basilio (Le Nozze di Figaro) et der Steuermann (Der Fliegender Holländer). Parmi les autres rôles de théâtre musical, il a aussi joué Marius dans Les Misérables et Judas dans Jesus Christ Superstar. Il a joué Woof en production à ciel ouvert Theater Augsburg de Hair en 2013 et Freddy dans la production (aussi à ciel ouvert) de My Fair Lady en 2014. Il écrit aussi des gens d'origine, le rock et la musique classique et réalise ses œuvres sous le nom, Blue Macaw . Christopher détient un Baccalauréat en Musique (Chant), qu’il a complété au Melba Memorial Conservatorium of Music en 2006, sous la tutelle de Peter Mander. Il détient également un Baccalauréat en Informatique de la Monash University (Clayton).
